Open House

Calling all 8th graders!

Do you love animation, graphic design, making videos, or building websites? Then our e-Communication Open House is the place to be! Come explore the creative possibilities waiting for you in the e-Communication Academy at Olathe Northwest High School.

You can stop by anytime during the event — we’ll have plenty to see and do!

When you arrive in the Commons, you’ll start your visit at our student showcase booths, where e-Comm students will share their creative work, answer questions, and talk about their experiences in the Academy.

From there, join one of our student-guided tours through three of the six state-of-the-art, technology-filled classrooms. You’ll see where our students learn, create, and collaborate every day — and get a firsthand look at what it’s like to be part of e-Comm.

At the end of your tour, visit the Raven’s Nest, where you’ll meet Mr. Netterville, e-Comm Facilitator, for a brief overview of the Academy and next steps in the application process. He’ll be available to answer any questions and help you learn how to apply to become part of the e-Communication Academy.

The full tour experience lasts about 40 minutes from start to finish.

Applications to join the e-Communication Academy open on November 6th, so mark your calendars and come see why creativity takes flight at ONW!
