Learn the creative art of filmmaking. Our Entertainment Video students explore and master the skills of development, pre-production, production, and post-production while learning the key elements of filmmaking (writing, directing, cinematography, lighting, audio, and editing). They will use these elements to produce top-quality films. All Entertainment Video students also create portfolios of their video work which includes creative film reels and branding portfolio websites.
Students learn through hands-on experiences with high-end video equipment and develop commercials, PSA’s, movie trailers, music videos, documentaries, episodic TV, short films, and full-length feature films. Also, each Entertainment Video student experiences the thrill of seeing their own feature film showcased at our own e-Communication Entertainment Video AMC Feature Film Night.
Learn how to:
In Entertainment Video students learn the art of filmmaking through the key elements of filmmaking. They learn script writing, directing, cinematography, audio, lighting and editing while making creative videos. In this upper-level course students learn how to make real PSA’s, music videos, commercials, short films, TV episodes, and even a Feature Film. They learn all the processes of filmmaking from pre-production to post and get to film cinematic films through hands on experience with professional equipment.
