Howdy, I'm Andrew Bolton, an animation student from Olathe Northwest's eCommunication academy. I've been animating since sixth grade and enjoy creating cartoony characters and stories. I specialize in 3D animation and modeling and have developed full short stories to character models to even 3D environments. Additionally, I've created 2D animation ranging from rotoscopes to character puppets. Furthermore, I've also taken college courses focused on animation alongside my teachings in eComm.

Hello, My name is Lysander and I am an animator in e-Comm that specializes in 2D animation. I create character animations and Digital Illustrations. For digital illustrations, I like to stretch my skills in background art. I also like to do some traditional pieces of different art media. I have done a lot of projects that have helped me grow my skills in animation and as a person.

Hi, I'm Blake, I'm a animation student at Olathe northwest, who thinks the world needs more stories like Scavengers Reign, Spirited Away, Bird Boy. I think 2d animation (and animation in general) has so much potential story wise, and I hope to improve my skills so I can create the stories I've spent years imagining. I've prioritized learning about 2d animation throughout my time at Olathe Northwest and hope to turn it into a career.

My Name is Alex Manhnieo and I am in the Animation strand of the eCommunications academy. I’ve worked on a variety of projects that vary from 2d to 3d animation. My favorite thing to work on is blender creating 3d models specifically giant mechanical robots. I’ve created and submitted two projects that have been placed in the top five but unfortunately my other project didn’t make it to the top five. My goal is to attend JCC for two years and hopefully transfer to an art school to work on my fundamentals.

I am Zoie Weimorts, and I'm studying to go into the Animation field, to bring ideas to life through digital arts. I've been drawing since 6 years old, creating many original characters through the years, thanks to a mind that never seems to shut off. I personally like to draw people or human like characters, dipping into animals as well. I work best with 2d, yet I still can create 3D assets for any scenes I create. My current project id creating headshots for 12 characters in a story of mine, centering around space flight and aliens.

My name is Aubrey Berthold and I am in Convergence Journalism. Throughout my everyday life, I am involved in several activities, such as choir, church, the gym and beginner nail tech responsibilites. I often find myself very busy as I balance school, church and two jobs, as well as find time for my family and friends. Throughout my e-Communications experience, I have learned how to balance my time and get my priorities straight.

My name is Parker Burnett. wi7I am a senior student in the Convergence-Journalism strand of the e-communications academy. I have spent my time in the academy mastering the adobe suite of creative tools while creating feature stories and producing live broadcasts.

I'm part of the convergence journalism strand. As a part of this strand I've mostly produced feature stories. I usually film and edit the stories. I have done stories on numerous things such as on clubs or different events happening in the area. When I'm on production for our weekly newscast I usually run the teleprompter or I am floor director.

After graduation I plan to serve a mission for my church.

I am in the Convergence strand of Ecomm. I create news and feature stories. I am effeicent in both premire pro and adobe tools. I know how to work tricasters, audio, and multipul cameras along side edit both long and short form content.

My name is Eliah Lemma, I’m in the Convergence Journalism strand of E-comm. After high school, I will continue my education to enter the medical field. I work as a teachers assistant at All around Child. I’m also an active member of my church as President of our youth social committee, planning and hosting events and fundraisers. Additionally. I’m part of the tech team in the church. In E-comm I’ve learned a lot, especially in creating engaging and informative feature stories for the Raven Network. This has helped me grow my confidence in public speaking through anchoring and interviews.

I’ve been part of the e-communication program for the past four years. I originally joined because I wanted to try something new and step outside of my comfort zone. It gave me the chance to explore different creative paths and better understand the kinds of opportunities available in the field. Over time, e-comm has helped me discover my interests and opened my eyes to potential career options in media and journalism. It has also taught me valuable leadership skills and how to work well with others, which I know will benefit me in any future career.

I have been a part of 3, 15-minute short films, but I’ve worked on upwards to 15 film-specific projects during my time here. I also lead the marketing for my classes short film premiers and work closely with the Juniors to shape their classes for the upcoming year.

During high school I've been on the ONW girls swim and dive team all 4 years, a member of NHS and president of NAHS for my senior year. My outside of school hobbies are making art, reading, baking and spending time with friends and family. e-Communication has been one the best parts of my high school experience with all the amazing opportunities it has given me and the people I have met.

I am in graphic design and I most enjoy being able to be creative and express myself with my art. I tend to do more fiction art style when drawing and working on projects. My favorite project in graphic design is my car drawing. I really enjoy drawing the details on the car. My other favorite project is my “MY BODY IS NOT YOUR CHOICE” . It took me the longest to create and think of the ideas for the design. I am very proud of my work and the details I put into my art. I enjoyed being in graphic design and I think everyone should try it out once.

I am a student in the e-Communication Academy at Olathe Northwest High School, specializing in Sports Journalism. Through the program, I have developed skills in interviewing, writing, broadcasting, and digital media production. I have contributed to academy media projects by creating sports stories, filming and editing content, and working as part of my team. My experience in the academy has strengthened my communication, leadership, video creation and storytelling abilities.

I plan to major in music performance in college, with the goal of winning a spot in a major symphony orchestra after graduation. I plan on using my skills learned in ecomm to help create and brand around myself and help classical music reach more people.

I have had the opportunity to call a lot of games over the past few years, and work on perfecting my craft. My portfolio contains all of my favorite work mostly my photography because that is what I want to pursue in and after college. You can take a look at my hype videos that I've made, I have made much more hype videos that I put on here but I'd like you to see my best work instead of what im just capable of. Now I want to talk a little bit about photography because I am passionate about it, all of these pictures were taken in the soccer pictures were taken in 2025 even thpugh I have been taking pictures since 2024 which was my junior year where I started taking pictures fro boys soccer. I have 2 years of experience but I didn't include any pictures from 2024 or spring of 2025. If you take a look at my boys socce pictures you'll see just 6 pictures. During boys soccer season I had a canon 80d which isn't ideal for pictures. My potential was being held back and in December just before basketball season I got a sony a73 and a very nice lens so if you look at my senior pictures and my media day picture you'll see the improvement immediately. My basketball pictures that you'll see are incredible and my best work, I enjoy taking pictures for basketball but I also enjoy taking videos and I have spent a lot of time improving that this year.

If you don't already know who I am, my name is Peyton Laflen, I go to school at Olathe Northwest and i am involved in LINK Crew, DECA, e-Communications, Tennis, and AVID. As a student, I have been involved in e-Comm for over 3 years, and coming up on number 4. In my times in this program, I have learned how to edit hype videos, stories and all the roles involved in broadcasting sports and news. I have also learned how to properly use a camera and other technology in the broadcasting world.

My plans after graduation consist of going to college for 4 years and hopefully getting a job in supply chain management, one of my majors. I will be attending Pitt State next fall and I plan to network myself across Kansas.

I produce visual content for athletic programs, including video board productions such as motion graphics and hype videos for football and basketball. I have covered games from the sidelines , including state competitions, capturing emotion and storytelling moments. My work focuses on engaging viewers and highlights experiences and student-athlete achievement. I am passionate about sports media and am committed to producing professional, impactful content across multiple platforms.
