Zimmerli
INSTRUCTOR
Mrs. Zimmerli brings two full careers of experience in design and art education to the classroom. She financed her college education working as a graphic and web designer at some of the top firms in Kansas City including Lockton Companies, Burns & McDonnell, Children International, and FishNet Security.
Mrs. Zimmerli returned to education as a teacher to spend more time with her family; she taught for Blue Valley and Spring Hill for a decade before joining Olathe and the e-Communication team in 2017. She is a licensed, “highly qualified” K-12 art teacher and building principal with a passion for helping teen and adult learners transition from high school to college.
Mrs. Zimmerli’s design specialties include print production, illustration, branding, surface patterning, social/grass-roots, typography, and photo compositing. She has taught classes in e-Communication Graphic Design, Web Design, and Video content areas, as well as Freshman Foundations.
